# Invoiced customers

Discover how invoiced GitHub accounts affect subscribing to Argos' paid plan and explore alternative subscription options.

If you have a GitHub invoiced account and are looking to subscribe to Argos' paid plan through the GitHub Marketplace, you may have encountered the following error message:

> "Unfortunately, invoiced customers cannot purchase paid plans on the GitHub Marketplace."
>
> **— GitHub error message**

This error message can be confusing, but it simply means that if your GitHub account is set up to receive an invoice for your subscription rather than charging your credit card directly, you won't be able to use the GitHub Marketplace to subscribe to Argos.

Not to worry! You can still purchase an Argos' paid plan by [subscribing via Stripe](/docs/learn/billing-and-subscription/subscription/how-to-subscribe.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://argos-ci.com/docs/learn/billing-and-subscription/subscription/invoiced-customers.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
